Unfolding the Story: A Snapshot of This Journey

My journey to Patiala during Basant Panchami was a vibrant celebration of Punjab’s heritage. Driving past golden mustard fields, I arrived in time for the Patiala Heritage Festival, where soulful classical music and colorful performances transported me to another era. Exploring Qila Mubarak, I wandered through grand courtyards and admired intricate frescoes and Belgium glass chandeliers. The legacy of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh fascinated me, as did the vast collection of medals in the Motibagh Museum. Before leaving, I indulged in a hearty Punjabi meal of sarson da saag and makki di roti, savoring the flavors of this land of grandeur and tradition.
