The drive to Khimser took me past vast desert landscapes until I arrived at the majestic Khimser Fort, a stunning 16th-century structure rich in history. I then ventured into the Bishnoi villages, where I marveled at their deep-rooted dedication to protecting wildlife, particularly the endangered black buck.
